The experience / The opportunity
Build the setting the idea deserves.
BoothMeUp develops custom installations for photo booth activations and entertainment environments. The build starts with the idea and how guests will use it, rather than a fixed rental enclosure.
Translate a creative brief into a physical environment, balancing visual impact with the way guests enter, interact and move through it.

DESIGNED AROUND YOUR IDEA
Build the world.Make the moment belong.
A custom installation brings the setting, lighting and guest interaction together. Start with the brand story, then shape a physical environment that makes the capture feel like part of the campaign.

From concept to camera-ready
Share the audience, venue and creative direction. We develop the enclosure, scenic treatment and capture approach together, considering guest access, camera sightlines and the finished image.

1 / 3The details that matter
Made for your event.
For agencies and sponsors
Build a connected sponsor journey across a single event or a touring program. Reuse the campaign’s design language while adapting guest flow, scenic modules and capture points to each venue.
What you receive
A physical environment designed around the guest, camera and campaign: a sculptural photo set, branded enclosure, scenic wall or entrance treatment. We coordinate the build with the activation it supports, rather than treating scenery as a separate afterthought.
Make it your own
Develop scenic walls, custom enclosures, branded entrances, floor treatments and integrated capture positions. Explore a player entrance, a themed expedition or a sponsor-led environment; final engineering, materials and effects follow the site and approved brief.
For your production plan
Know before you book.
Share the full event or tour schedule, venue drawings and transport windows. Agree modular build dimensions, accessible routes, storage, refurbishment and local production needs before fabrication. Special effects and overhead structures require venue-specific review.
Can you create an illusion without a real climbing installation?
Yes. One concept uses a floor-level scenic graphic and an overhead camera to create a vertical-cliff portrait. Guests remain at floor level; the final perspective creates the illusion. Accessibility, camera clearance and an alternative pose are part of the design.
How do we choose between a physical set and a generated environment?
A physical set gives the whole room something to see and interact with. A generated portrait changes the guest’s finished image. Virtual production coordinates capture with a digital environment. We can combine them, but each requires its own creative and production plan.
What affects fabrication lead time?
Dimensions, structural requirements, finishes, lighting, venue approvals and shipping all matter. Share the floor plan and load-in route early; we confirm the build, installation and removal responsibilities before fabrication begins.
Installation and handover
We confirm delivery access, installation responsibilities, venue approval and collection in the proposal. If you pair the installation with an operated experience, its staffing and guest flow are planned separately.
Insurance and approvals
A $5M certificate of insurance is available on request. Send the venue’s certificate-holder details and access requirements to your project team.
What does the venue need to approve?
Share the floor plan, surface, access route and installation windows. We coordinate the proposed placement, fixing method, clearance and any electrical requirements before production.
When should we supply artwork?
Send vector logos, brand guidelines and the design deadline with your brief. Print-ready dimensions, proofs and production lead time are confirmed for the selected build.
Can this be paired with a photo experience?
Yes. Plan the backdrop, branded floor and capture position together. The proposal separates the scenic installation from equipment, operators and guest deliverables.

Before the floor plan is finalized: Fabrication drawings, materials, structural requirements, shipping, load-in and venue approvals.
Recommended planning concept, not an engineering drawing or a guaranteed minimum. Queue space, accessible routes and venue-approved clearances must be agreed for your event.
